President’s Message

On behalf of the University of Riverside faculty, administration, and staff, I welcome you to visit our website. We are very happy to become acquainted with you and to help you succeed in your educational journey.

As the President of the University of Riverside, it is my pleasure to share with you my vision of this institution. The University of Riverside seeks for academic excellence in all of its academic programs. Our major strength lies in a strong team of highly qualified faculty and dedicated staff to deliver first class education.

In the fast changing global economic environment, University of Riverside has plans to strive to bring global perspective to all its programs and activities. Latest technologies are employed for effective delivery and the curriculum emphasizes practice orientation in its entire curriculum. The University plans for global alliances with highly reputed academic organizations. We believe in preparing global leaders who believe in contributing to the national and global economy and civil society.

UOR has taken significant steps in pursuit of academic excellence. Some of the specific steps taken include recruitment of highly qualified faculty with global perspective, designing the course curriculum, and starting the School of Business and the School of Extended Education to serve the local community in Riverside.

While we are happy with the accomplishments of the University of Riverside so far, our vision is to emerge as one of the major educational institution with global perspective.
